Welcome to the Triangle from Gregg Kernodle

I am the Sales Manager for Crossover Lending Group In Wake County. As a native North Carolinian, I have worked and lived in Wake County for over 12 years. I grew up in Charlotte, NC and moved to the Triangle area to attend North Carolina State University. During college, I came to know and love the Triangle area and I feel it is the best place in the US to live.

After college, I worked in customer service and sales fields for several years. I have worked in the finance and banking industry since 2000. I have been a licensed mortgage broker, working for an independent firm for over 4 years.

Whether you are looking to buy your first home, a rental property or your dream home, I can guide you and make sure that you have selected the market and neighborhood that fits your needs and desires. I can provide my clients with a true comparison of mortgage rates and fees. In addition, I have a great team that works solely with me to ensure the best services available. My team also includes real estate agents, attorneys and other real estate service providers to make sure your get the best possible services and costs. My company, Crossover Lending, has also developed what is believed to be the most comprehensive search engine in the mortgage industry, to make sure my clients get the program that best fits their needs.

One of the fastest-growing areas in the nation, Wake County offers more of all the things you look for in a community. Wake County is a unique mix of urban and rural areas, medium-sized cities, and small towns. People who live here frequently cite quiet, safe neighborhoods and lots of good housing options as one of the primary factors contributing to our renowned living quality. Raleigh and its neighboring communities, of Wake Forest, Durham and Chapel Hill, are centrally located within North Carolina giving easy access to the beautiful beaches of the East Coast and the great Blue Ridge Mountains.

Home to the state capital, Wake County enjoys a historically recession-proof economy, dominated by government, professional and business services, education and health care. Wake County hosts a wide array of public and private companies, including ambitious firms such as Progress Energy, Red Hat, Cisco, SAS and RBC Centura. Innovation is flourishing in fields ranging from life sciences and biotechnology to information technology and software development, thanks in part to the world-renowned Research Triangle Park. The high quality of education found throughout Wake County is a primary reason that the Triangle area continues to be heralded as one of the best places to live in the country. Our public schools earn high marks across the board, outperforming school districts across the state and nation in end-of-course and proficiency tests, SAT scores and other performance-measuring criteria. In fact, the Wake County Public School System is a national role model with its goal of having 95 percent of its students performing at or above grade level. With a reputation like that, it’s no surprise Money magazine ranked the Wake County Public School System among the best 100 school systems in the nation.
